The BowArk team has been involved in the development, acquisition and financing of over 1,500 MW of independent power projects located across North America, representing an investment of over $2.0 billion. Most recently, BowArk, in cooperation with Algonquin Power Income Fund (APF.UN), successfully developed and financed ($212 million) the St. Leon Wind Energy Project in Manitoba. The 99MW wind energy park was completed in March 2006.

BowArk worked with Algonquin Power Income Fund on Manitoba’s first wind energy project in St Leon. The fund is based in Oakville Ontario and manages a diverse portfolio of power generating and infrastructure assets across North America, including 48 hydroelectric facilities, five natural gas-fired cogeneration facilities, 17 alternative fuels facilities and 15 water distribution and waste-water facilities. BowArk and Algonquin recently formed a joint venture to develop and operate wind energy projects in Ontario.

Helimax Energy Inc., a leader in the field of wind energy consulting. Helimax specializes in the use of meteorology and engineering for utility scale wind energy project development. They have over 130 clients in 20 countries, and are actively involved in the development of wind energy projects representing over 15,000 MW.
